@mangadexcommentban I think Japan likes poking fun at the church but it does get rather old. Its a meme that the church can never be trusted in anime. The odd thing is that mangas where the church isn't a terrible thing are the more interesting storyliens with more writing to them. Ones where the church is bad leans very heavily on the church is bad because its a church cliche so its a snore to read.
