honestly, why is it that the MCs have to ALWAYS have this "i cant leave you alone even if you are a bad guy" kind of personality?? its so freaking frustrating!!! that fucking witch has no redeeming qualities to be liked and yet he keeps being all good and kind to her!! had it been me, id have taken the broom, searched and found the brooch, undressed her in order to use the clothes for my self (since its apparently just a cloak i dont think its bad to use it) and left her all naked in the mountain to die form the cold weather!

@Dantrig If you check the chapters title, there are already same title before where he was trying the same spell with Kuromori and now he is with Shirayuki so thats why. (Shira = white, Kuro = black)

@Dantrig This is just my guess, but I'd say it's there as a way to tell you which of the two girls it centers around; remember that Shirayuki's name contains the kanji for "white" in it and, so far, both chapters that have had (White) in the title have focused more on Shirayuki than they have on Kuromori.

I have to agree that there's nothing likeable about Shirayuki thus far. She's just consistently been a bitch who lied to them, tricked them, stole from them, threatened them, blackmailed them, etc. without any care about them whatsoever. At the very least she deserves a punch in the face.

i hate this kind a.f. protagonists. It's like being threatened to be turned into stone is not fatal enough to warrant enough fear and hate to anyone.
well... I guess this is tame compared to the last manga the author made.?

Yeaah.. Somehow, that treat of hers to turn him and another girl to stone (effectively killing them) had a very believable atmosphere around it. I also would have gone with the "Take that heart and leave." approach. I wouldn't want her to die, but I would have looked into a way to neutralize her for good. The sleeping thing after casting magic is a good hint to start. Surely there are other useful curses or mind messing magic. This bitch has to much power and should really be stopped.

And even now that he got a glimpse of a more sympathetic side as a witch to her, she still threatened and blackmailed him. Even made fun of him and messed up his relationship with best girl for fun. Also to drive them apart, but mainly for fun. Bitch wants to ruin his life. Make her unable to do so. By quite a lot means necessary.
