Kuutei Dragons

Wow. This is beautiful, the characters are charming, the unique dragons are very interesting and the food looks delicious.

I do agree though, that it's clear that it romanticizes whaling, which is a very real thing that still happens today. It may not sit well with some folks, but if you can get past that, it's a great read.

Crunchyroll has the rights to it and is currently offering Chapter 1, and Chapters 18 thru 48, so I think they're still working on it.

What a beautiful manga, I'm into 32 chaps, this manga is one of those I want to watch in anime since i don't really rewatch it in anime if I already read the story. There's just something about the sky that makes it so pleasing to the eyes

@krieger This site got taken down, do you know if they have put in some other domain?

Does this manga has a bigger plot than just cooking dragons? The art's beautiful but that isn't enough to give it a chance to me

@ruisumaru they are now exploring different types of Vessels: there are those who are paid to just slay dragons, there are those that worship dragons, etc. etc. all this while showing us the past of the entire crew.

It's a slow paced story, after all.

Laius from Dungeon Meshi would be thrilled to worship and eat those dragons hahaha (its recommended, u guys should check it out)

@Skeith9 the manga is serialized and licensed officially in English so probably not. But if you search on Google a few aggregator sites reupload the official chapters.

@Ruisumaru for the most part the plot is just "dragon of the week", but it's getting deeper now with more characters introduced and the latest arc revolves around Vannie's hometown and a war.
