Thanks for the translations, even knowing it would just end like this, it was still a pretty funny ride, considering Niko is good at these kind of goofy premises involving asshole characters.
The romance never got anywhere, though...better if it just focused on comedy instead.

Honestly, this was the perfect way to end it. I never expected major arcs and blossoming romance and character growth from this thing. It was always about trash people acting like fools. The implication of development on the final page is great.

This seem like one of those manga that will last years and years, I'm surprised that it still end this soon. A good enough ending at least.

It was fun while it lasted. I'm not surprised, since it's been a year or so I heard it was not gonna make the cut.

It's true that it was a good manga, but people don't really like mangas where nothing major happens anymore.

I'm a major fan of Tanigawa Nico's work, but aside from Watamote and Number Girl, I never really expect their work to go extremely far. What kept me going with their other works (Fake Lit Chick , Write sister & Chokku!), is how the characters individual awknardness could actualy brings interesting relationships. This, and the general improvment of the Artist artstyle.

I mean, they've come a long way since Chokku! (which I liked, but still...), we can be proud of them. STILL, I'm not gonna be as tolerant about the ending for Watamote.
If they bring up such an incomplete ending with Tomoko and the gang, I'm gonna crack a fuse.
