I gotta say this translation reeks of “fan” translation. A bit too much Google Translate / literal translation going on…

Back when I was studying Japanese and doing fan translations I thought being literal was good, but now that I’m not such a complete weeb I see how stupid it is… damn. It’s hard to read.

@shaunqb Yo, I remember that. I liked to compare Cage of Eden to the TV show Lost: Interesting premise, and an excellent start, but falls off a cliff later on by trying to overcomplicate the plot
