And then there is also just age of consent from one country to the next. The legal age in Japan is roughly 13-18 depending on the age of the person they are having sex with. So just because in japan, it's okay for a story to show 2 like 14 year old kids fucking, doesn't mean it's okay to show it in the US. Just because you and your friends aren't bothered by it doesn't change the fact that publishers have to follow laws and regulations. Like just because it's not a real life child being sexualized doesn't change the fact that it's still a child being descriptively sexualized.

Like I said earlier, just because it's not a real life child being sexualized, doesn't change the fact that it's still a child being descriptively sexualized. Less we forget that Recoome did kick gohan in the head so hard one could assume the boy's neck should of snapped. One is brutality being done to a child while another is sexualizing.

@gum_rummy That is actually wrong. If that was the case then it wouldn't be a widespread focus against all anime/hentai. The amount of works like this in miniscule in the vast ocean of manga that you could read. I won't bat an eyelash when countries ban anime/manga though. If they want to miss out on great works instead of just saying "this work here" isn't for us then thats them. Internet VPNS bypass all their banning efforts so its mostly a waste of time. Debating how lolis must be illegal and what not is the same as how alcohol, wine and videogames should be illegal. They are all potential of crimes, but the guaranteed correlation has yet been proven. Fact is, for now, it is multifactorial, there is no direct correlation between these factors. It could be because of underlying familial issues, personality issues, environment social issues, stress and then the "lolicon factor" that accumulates to these tendencies. The crime rate for these issues are lower than scientific significant value. Hypertension heart disease causes more deaths, TB in some part of the world, even the one of the lowest - HIV. It is not that i don't have sympathetic value with how children are portrayed in these lewd ways, but rather only those with underlying mental issues will do crimes. Only when one tolerance to emotion is broken then one will do crime. And obviously also the fact that people have low IQ to do crimes anyway. If any, human trafficking happens because of uncontrolled sex, no sense of morals, greed of money, so on so forth. In a sense, this is the same as kaichou being suspected for pro taiwan when it is all JUST ENTERTAINMENT
