Running into a fire filled area... even if he doesn't make a contract with the salamander yet, something tells me this might be what makes the church go after him. They might simply see his survival as suspicious and, knowing a 'demon' was nearby might think it moved to him.

Is there a chance Rico might die in this arc? It's hard to see how else Arsenio can get out of there without either contracting with salamander now or Rico doing some really hand wavey magic.

I feel like Rico may perhaps be the one to send Arsenio to Betty (or be related to Betty in some manner) @iskaeil. Rico's an Irish/Scottish folklore spirit after all, and Betty's home is most definitely magical Ireland, so they're probably connected. Not sure if Rico'll die, but Rico will definitely help.
