I really enjoyed Rico as a character. They spent so much time building him up, creating his backstory, and developing relationships between him and other characters. Then having him killed off by some random ass side character knight before Rico can really do anything important within the plot is just a waste. Feels like lazy writing for a shock and awe factor. If he comes back to life, cool, if not I'm dropping this series.
