If the mc’s father was some sort of hero, why isn’t he like a noble? Surely that would make his family’s lives easier, better and safer. His family wouldn’t be able to be attacked by these sorts of people and if anyone strong enough to threaten his family appeared, they’d at least have guards that they would be able to hire if they were some sort of high ranking something.

@Thoxi1026 I'd assume it has to do with key nobles not wanting the status quo to change by allowing others to move up the ranks. Allowing a 'no-one' and their family to become nobles would be the same as admitting that the nobles aren't as all-powerful and impressive as some of them would claim they otherwise are.

Even if the father is the so called “hero” or “legend”? And it may be just me but it seems like the princess and her family are open minded and not so thick headed that they wouldn’t allow that.

I'm really curious about his demon and angel grandparents since we haven't seen them. I would assume that angels and demons are pretty powerful beings and highly ranked.

I would expect that demon(?) woman thought she had killed him, but he survived thanks to his sturdiness. The scene does show him being hit by a truck, and it was mentioned that he could probably survive being hit by a truck.

@sherlock0790 I think there's some reason for MC go passive like this, ex. he almost killed someone in the past.
@Thoxi1026 maybe because being a hero doesn't automatically become noble or there's third party that doesn't want him to become noble.
