bit out of character for her? i mean, even if he deserved it she was still very snide and i can't say i like how she dealt with it all, it was all very unnecessary. On the last few chapters she showed she can be manipulative and snide. Maybe in line with what you'd expect from a noble lady, but a bit off compared to the compassionate woman we saw earlier on the story.

@KajurN She saw all the men in her family murdered one by one and her mother die of an illness caused by the grief. Furthermore, some even suggested she was behind the murders of her own family. She was thus abandoned by pretty much everyone, save a couple of people. That will give a certain edge to a person who still isn't willing to give up.

I know some people think that she is much out of character here.. but I certainly don't think so. In my opinion, she lives for her family. She is ready and determined to do everything for her family and the people who stood by her. By that butler who she said would betray her family later on - you have seen that she is merciless and held a deep grudge - she does not think that one can be forgiven when he hasn't done the deed yet.
So this time the guy did something unforgiving in her opinion: He looked down on her brother. He was very rude to Robert so she snapped. I think this chapter is to show us her ultimate bottom line. Her family. They are her reverse scale.

@MaliciousBurial @LaDeeDah Exactly, i also think that she acts the same as others MCs that i know them are gentle but once them snap the reveal their other side (in her case merciless towards people that do bad things with her family, build upon a very sad past) @KajurN i dont think being a noble has anything to do with her personality after all there is good nobles and bad nobles in every story out there of fantasy or historical (not saying that calliope is bad though just a example, and also what i said earlier about her past because its her memories of her past that make it her like this.) and finally sorry if i disrespected some one and this is also my though about this, and also sorry if i write something wrong. English is not my native language.
