I really get the idea that the 'Gift' from the goddess-thiny at the start wasn't just reincarnation. Like there is a total brainwashing thing going on where the good folk of the girl's previously life are naturally (AKA stupidly) blind the excessive unusualness of the MC.

Like that one servant the and butler aren't just there as representatives of the rational faction of people, but may have had played pivotal roles in the fall of the her House.
