Lady Evony

What an unexpected read! I was assuming this would have the stereotypical plot that these types of stories usually have (which I don't mind). But was welcomed with something different and refreshing!

The pacing is good while not being too slow and always keeping you immersed in the story.

Not only is the FL strong but is equal to the ML. The ML trusts the FL and isn't constantly holding her hand either, which you see a lot of in other stories!

@JaneJeon Not sure if you already know about The Queen manhua, but I'd say it fits the tags you're looking for! It's also being translated by the same group as this.

Please read this manwha, it's so good.
Both the FL and ML are strong and refreshing. I'm kicking myself for not reading sooner.

Wow once the story started going, boy did it ever. Excellent pacing and a storyline that keeps drawing you in.

Thank you for the translation guys! The story just keeps getting higher in stake each release and I'm on the edge of my seat!

@JaneJeon They're pretty hot rn so you might have read them already but: "May I please ask one last thing", "Raise wa Tanin ga li", "The flower that was bloomed by a cloud" and "Kusuriya no Hitorigoto" all have strong female leads.

Why does the art in the more recent chapters look so pixelated, like its been drawn in MS Paint? The first several chapters dont look like this...

i fell for this manhua i just wish i continued studying spanish when i left high school they always have fast translations xD thank you team for the english translations! :)

@rikiwichman to be honest, even though im an spanish native speaker, im waiting for the english translations (it feels really cringy to read in spanish, i dont like it, avoid it if possible)

and so, seeing your comment made me feel guilty xD

its pretty normal for us to have to learn english as a must, in south america (because america its not just usa) its that or potuguesse (its fairly alike, i learned when i went to brazil, forgot ir already though)
now, being serious, spanish is more difficult than english, so, strength! try the yandere duolingo app or try to read spanish material, the latter its more difficult but its the fastest way to learn afterall

I'd consider this one as a "slow" story, given that at this point (ch 25) I'm still not sure where the overall plot is heading. And normally, I hate slow plot like this (I dropped The Great Wish and Elskar for this reason), but I find that Ebony is more likable than those 2 manhwas because of the FL's personality. Plus, unlike the other 2, Ebony has interesting smaller events in the chapters; i.e they are not empty chapters where nothing seem to happen like that in "Elskar".

The plot is still vague to me at this point, but I'm gonna keep reading!

This is great. Love the main characters. The male lead drinks Respect Women Juice every morning for breakfast.

However, wouldn’t people start putting things together when the archduke is publicly seen supporting and acting as guardian for a widow persecuted by a lot of male nobles so they can take her late husband’s property and wealth after doing pretty much the same thing for a woman convicted of murder? And after drawing so much attention to her raven-black hair and naming her after it, wouldn’t people realise that once of his charges has black hair? Especially the brother of her ex-fiancé who has probably met her?

Then again, people are dumb as hell and her behaviour as Raven is completely different from what people know of her. And supposedly she looks a lot better now than when she was in prison, or presumably even before that when she lived with an abusive father.

Not sure if I need to to tag that as spoilers but I will anyway just to be safe.

That's an amazingly cool cover. I like her smiling and strong.

Independent strong woman to the max !!! 😊
