But that ending looked like triggered Mel’s flag.

Looks like her earth lift was one where she was in a wealthy family with strong obligations. Seems odd that she would get into playing an otome game. Look forward to her backstory getting explained.
Edit: Oh, next chapter gives a good explanation of her backstory. Looks like I was off.
