LandLadyankee! ~My Apartment Life with a Yankee Landlord~ - Vol. 1 Ch. 10

Man, Japan is such a dangerous place for women. At least according to the majority of manga.
It's full to the brim with guys inviting random women to their houses. And then the guys immediately grab them and start dragging the girls against their will. All of that in broad daylight and in the middle of the street.
Luckily there is always a MC or heroine around to save them.

@glassedboi Well, with a lot of yuri cliches in mind, I was about to think that she would not fall in love with MC, but with landlady herself, lol.

@Doramas Well, according to the manga, the life of hot Japanese girls is so terrible that even other women want to rape them

Correction on page 7: Chiho must be asking if the landlady hates her (I don't have access to the raws, but given the translation, I can make an educated guess that the original goes something like this: あたし、大家さんに嫌われてるのかな, with 嫌われる meaning "being hated"), not the other way around.

@Doramas seriously. Why is that shit so normal in manga? Is every fucking young adult male a rapist? Or a sex offender? Immediately grab and drag off caveman style

Can't it be where they show concern and it be a misunderstanding?

@Xxjuggernaut

I think men in Japan are a lot more desperate because of the social pressures placed on them, so that might help to explain why its a common trope here.

Reminds me of ReLife tbh.The 'wanting to smile but scares people off' trope

Japan does not have 'let's go to my house kidnapping in broad day light' lmao
the crime rate is probably lower in a Yakuza alleyway than it is on a normal latam city

two perverts were going to harrass a young girl and youre telling me they got scared off by a hotter, younger girl? immersion breaking
