I never understood the immense fear of roaches shown in manga, but then I remember I live in NYC which is the roach and rat capital of the world so I'm probably desensitized after seeing so many of them.

@need4speedrazor6 I see roaches all the time. Spiders and mosquitoes and a bunch of other bugs as well. I live down in the south where there are bugs aplenty.

At this point I pretty much scan the kitchen for roaches whenever I go pour myself some water at night.

They're not a sight I'm comfortable with seeing, but if I froze every time they appeared I'd never get anything done...

I live in the country-side & I can confirm, roaches arent a problem watsoever compared to cleaning up bloody corpses of bats & rats.
