Legend - Vol. 6 Ch. 32

Not a spoiler, but...
That face she made... looks like she heard what Rei told the Lich Lord.

hm...
seems the artist could not make his mind if thous monsters are "somewhat dogs" or not...
the joints of their forelegs change direction in some panels

It would make sense that the princess overheard their conversation. He had said that TIME was suspended, not space. So in essence, if his voice could travel to her ears, despite time being stopped, she should still had been able to hear it. ^.- That's my hypothesis anyway.

Didn't the MC already defeat monsters of rank B during that attack on the orc base?
So why would he struggle now against monsters that are only upgraded to rank B cause they fight in packs?
Or do I remember that orc episode incorrectly?

spend less time saying shit and more time on swinging your weapon... funny that... how they always have time to come up with some comments about how someone is to fast to counter or something after the attack has been initiated but not landed yet, if you have time to comment, you have time to counter!

@Talh Only the Orc King was a Rank B. That said, the main difference here is in the terrain. When he faced off against the Orc King, it was in a fairly wide open space and it was 1v1, whereas here he's facing several fast moving opponents in a confined space (that tunnel doesn't look more than about 15ft to a side) and he has to worry about friendly fire. Plus, it's worth remembering that coming face to face with Grim did take a lot out of him, so he's partly exhausted from that.

Always fun to have an OP protagonist run into something beyond him. It puts a bit of suspense back in the story.

@phil777 that makes 0 sense, you cant have vibrations, that is sound, without time. Even if she heard everything at the end it would be so compressed that it would be completely undecipherable

@banjomarx Spoil concerning your comment
She has an item that allowed her to listen, not exactly just that but it helped her resist the magic.

so in other words, the author doesn't care about your logic.

@phil777 In addition to what banjomarx said, why would the lich allow such a thing? It's not like he wouldn't have known the effects of his own spells.

@Kamelpov That's an interesting theory indeed.

@Kaarme Guess I'll just fall back on this then:

@conscript117 nah as long as the listening happened in real time, its fine. or if the device recorded the sound its fine. if neither of those, its just magic bullshit
