Let's Meet at the Witches' Gathering - Ch. 19

That's what I call an eye for an eye

@Xeredge @Swagner The boy was blind and he didn't have an arm, so he got kidnapped by a demon who grew fond of him, but she eventually got hunted down, and so in order to stay in the material universe, she made a deal with the boy to stay around and exchange his arm for her's and one of her eyes for his.

oh wow this one is another one of these episodes that feels like it would enough depth to its premise they could have stretched it into an actual series or a least a one volume work.

@Xeredge @Swagner
I don't either , and I don't think Tamerlane's analysis is completely accurate.

I think it's because page 3 was mistranslated.

@REDRED
maybe he always had it? the art's too shoddy to tell.

I'm sorry, but I can't be the only person who thought of this:

It's possible to do a story well with little dialogue, but it's also possible that things don't come across well instead.

I also think that he had a missing hand at least. It's just that the art is too sketchy to discern what is happening. That's why there is so much focus on what his left side "gained" and what the demon "lost" (the eye and the arm)
And having your eyes slashed out and then both wounds stitched is quite brutal.

Page 3 kinda looks like he has both arms and hands? So maybe she just gave him her eye?
Sketch style art is cool but its hard to see some of the details
