Indeed, as long as he has the mana to cast it once he can cast it infinity. So spam infinity fire and everything is on fire.

@Vincentius, technically it doesn't. now imagine if the enemy has 50k hp, he would have to hit the enemy 5000 times to defeat it. and that doesn't take into account if the enemy is able to dodge or block the attack. anyway, it will be a grindfest, and having higher lvl spells that deal more damage will decrease the time it takes to defeat the enemy, therefore you won't have to grind for long.

I see a lot of comments on low rank magic with low damage. You guys were missing the point though. Just compressed the fireball with 999999999999999999999999 MP that should destroy the world.

He is able to do high damage later on by using low rank spell to write a magical spell for high rank magic. He can't learn new skill but he can cast a new spell, all he need to do is write the magical rune using his low rank magic. Just imagine it like he uses hundreds and thousand of fireball and arrange it into a magical spell rune and then supply the magical rune with his unlimited mana for power and the high rank magic will activate-.

If I remember it correctly in this series the MC can cast multiple fireball with no incantation. So its won't be a grind fest, the battle will end in an instant.

Wait, so by fixing his stats permanently:

- His MP is low. He does not have unlimited mana; he have a fixed mana capacity with an unlimited supply, rendering him to only capable of casting low magic spells but without any numerical restriction of casts (if he learns no chant). He defines what a mage turret is.

- His HP is low, but unless there's an attack big enough to offset his raw HP that could bypass any magic barriers he could possibly layered to a ridiculous amount (no matter how low-leveled), he's basically a mage fortress.

- Buffs and debuffs aren't affecting him in the slightest, including any poison.

Damn, the evil god is surely short-sighted.
