I gave this an honest chance, but after two chapters it's still a mess. Feels like there's supposed to be a full page of content in-between each panel of each page, so reading this is rather difficult as the story feels like it's constantly skipping things.

Agreed with @frungy, this has the type of setting I like, but the flow is complete garbage. Throwing around characters and locations, and just exposition. the panels look nice, but from to another it just jumps wildly.
The manga is just working through a check list and I doubt any editor has actually looked at this. This needed some serious guidance.

Guys, the mangaka is the problem here, not the author. The novel version is way better and more interesting and detailed compared to this garbage adaptation.
