At a proximity as close as that bounding mine was, that guy should've been killed by the shrapnel from the explosive, blasted across the room, and not to mention he could've easily been killed by the glass shards blown at him. But hey, he's the protagonist. With injuries like that, he'll lose his pride at most.

On another note, Hitotsubashi-san must be a handful to typeset in those bubbles.

Just me wondering why they didnt just take a jacket off and sweep the glass off to make a path, would probably let em spot any traps (wires) and even if not, have a higher chance of survival being on the floor able to cover your vitals way more than standing

Huh, even the Battlefield V nerfs have made it into manga. You can't kill a soldier with a single S-Mine nowadays...

That mine appears to be the US-made M16A2.

I'm very surprised that you can hide a mine in plain sight on a tiled floor without first putting the mine beneath ground level -- even if the floor is littered with glass.
