They were incredibly underdeveloped characters whose only characterization was that they were lovers - a pair of satellite characters.

They weren't relatable, but I still can't say I didn't feel sorry for them.

Side characters with little backstory = like lambs to the slaughter.

That being said nobody here really has much of a backstory. And I have the feeling the prettiest girl in the manga is most likely the one behind the game...
