Phlame: Shortly after the chapter where the MC picked up a shield from a skeleton corpse and it broke during a fight, he noted that it might not be a good idea to spend points on equipment that could either break easily or quickly be out leveled by the increasingly stronger opponents he faces each test. Instead, he should save points for skills, masteries, weapons, accessories, and tools and use money to buy other equipment in the real world.
However, due to how sturdy his weapons are, I'm not certain that a holy shield and armor would also not have a similar, superior level of sturdiness. Furthermore, it would likely have enhanced synergies with his Lyfedearc abilities since the shield and armor are specifically for Lyfedearc priest-warriors.
