But could someone please tell me about the last part ? I didn't get it, The priests lied about the spread of the plague or what no...
 
"who benefited more from the plague?" i answered quickly ..is it the government?? lmao i guess in this setting the royal peeps?? (lowly whispers: treason) ok is it the temple then?? i'm having mixed feelings and braincells here can someone pls explain to me in (dumb language) the ending part of this chapter?
 
@glorygorg it would be the temple lol. Unless this country is ruled by religion, the King and Queen or Emperor and Empress would be weakened if they had to rely on priests to help them. Usually relationships between royalty and any religion is strained.
 
so.... the temple spread the plague so they can benefit from the plague by being paid to give blessings to protect from the plague...?
