How does one tell if a skeleton is dead or not? Do you need to be a skelly to know or does everyone know?

@CalamityCallout Honestly I have no idea how the level system works, supposedly level 9 for a skeleton is not that high because skeletons are very weak, but there's no way to make any comparisons.
