Too short! The art is gorgeous, however. I wish there were more pages so we could see more art + get a better feel for the story.

I'm a little confused on what happened. From the comments on MAL, some assumed she was killed, but... I think she survived? At the beginning, she mentions not dirtying her dress and by the end, she also mentions her dress again.

The first time I read it though, I assumed that the wolf did kill her and had now assumed her identity.

Also, did she... Did she poison the apples? And then fed those poor animals those same apples...?
