I actually feel bad for Kai. He wanted to give his sister a nice gift but ended up giving her trash that humiliated her in front of all these nobles. All because he believed and trusted the adults around him. No wonder he ends up a twisted person in the original plot if he's surrounded by these kinds of people. 😢
