Lonely Attack on a Different World - Vol. 4 Ch. 38 - Why Am I Being Left Out?

This is kind of lackluster writing. "Affinity". I can somewhat guess what it means based on the name. However, it's still an ambiguous term. Affection? Trust? [Lack of] suspicion? Bargaining? Lust? Those could all be part of affinity, and those are all reasonably separate concepts.

Nowhere does it explain what affinity actually is. All we know is that the MC believes that increased affinity [with someone] results in less nagging from them. The story could've added like one speech bubble to explain what it actually is. I'll even give the story the benefit of the doubt and say that the actual definition of affinity is a plot-relevant detail. It could still explain what Haruka believes affinity is without spoiling anything.

@Chaeden the thanks/lecture ratio just seems a little out of balance.
Or maybe we focus more on the negative stuff and that makes the nagging stand out more?
I mean, he can evidently take care of himself, just because things are dangerous for them, doesn't mean they are for him.
At least his classmates should know he's extraordinarily strong for his level.
