except for the earlier chapters, Youcheng has never really turned red, and she's never even had her heart skip a beat when she interacts with Youshou. it kinda confirms that her feelings are just that of admiration because now that she's friends with him, she can interact with him normally.

and Qiao Xin isn't really as nice as she makes herself to be (i know because i've read this in another language until a certain chapter that i forgot and decided to re-read since i forgot the plot anyway)
