Yes, you are right....
None of his stories are 100 % accurate to the original.
Notice for example how snow white is using the dwarfs as soldiers.
Also Malfurian is pretty much the one who put Illidan in jail in the first place.
It was Malfurion and Cenarius who busted his ass in the first place iirc
