Love Hina

I'm still waiting for UQ Holder to show some descendants of the cast. Shinobu was an obvious throwback, but I'm hoping more for Su's descendants. She seems to be the only one with no connection so far.

Brings back memories of my good ol' highschool days. This and A.I. Love You really got me into reading manga.

Say what you will about harem series nowadays, this is a harem series done right.

Truly a classic in every way!

Classic. I own the whole series on paperback, but I prefer the scanlation group's take on the translations. A must read for the harem genre. I would think of this as more of a romance/drama with comedy input between the character development.

ah this manga
about a boy who stay faithful to his promise and a girl that fell in love to another man while that boy still trying his best to fulfill his promise
hmm hmm

@sarshi
You shouldn't take idiotic kindergartner promises seriously. The story was much better when it seemed like Mutsumi was the one he promised, and for awhile he was clearly not going to pick her despite that, since there's zero reason to give a single fuck about stuff you say when you're 6 years old or whatever.

This is a true classic series and one of the best group romance stories ever. The art really elevates it and the emotional pulls are still strong. If anyone is reading this message, be sure to read this series; I really do believe it is a timeless one.

Classic, for better or worse. Still have english first printing from I believe twelve years ago, but revisiting it was a downer - cant say a modern reader would appreciate it.

The mother of all modern harem rom-con manga. Im pretty sure that if someone read this series nowadays, they won't find anything new, but the truth is that is the others that copied this manga, not the oposite.

@sarshi But is it worth reading though? Lot of these other comments building it up but you're making it seem like it's gonna be a 5 Centimeters A Second type manga and I am not going through that again :(

Bing bang boom bada boom, I love the shit out of this manga. What a timeless classic. Good comedy, drama, romance, this manga got it all and a good ending to finish everything off, what an amazing ride. Though the cover here kinda gave away everything, can’t believe it’s put as the main cover

Ehh. Some volumes/chapters stand out more than others. And there's quite a lot "filler", even if this is the original manga - quite a few chapters are just... nonsensical and don't drive the plot. This series is best when it shows the protagonist and his Mary Sue trying to pass their fucking exams and dealing with the aftermath.

An ok at best series that apparently pioneered alot of the annoying tropes that are seen in the modern harem genre.
