Love is Still Too Early for Himeno-chan - Vol. 2 Ch. 14

Poor Himeno even after all this time

Himeno's love --------------------->

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. Ouji's head

and it's all because she can't be honest

A jolly good chapter with Ouji's retorts. Especially the "Are you changing schools?" misunderstanding was great. It's a never-ending comedy how Himeno's idealistic (and naive) view of how things are going is repeatedly shattered by Ouji.

@jonsmth It's just fine. She's not that mature either, she's just trying her hardest to act mature. So, this level is fitting for them.

Sigh I've grown to hate these sort of manga,
yes they are cute,
but since its a shota x loli, its more than likely it won't go any where.

also why does she need to act like adult?? drinking coffee or wanting to go on dates
it looks cute but in reality such kid would be such a pain in ass

@Naiko

Ouji is kind of realizing that Himeno isn't just a bully, but a tsundere, and that makes all the physical abuse passable... right?
Heh.

Let's not view this manga as social commentary on gender bias, it'll drown out all the cuteness. lol

@The_Look_Of_Disapproval
I think you are too unassuming about manga culture. I wouldn't expect romance out of a child manga to begin with these days. I think it's because Japan has a very formal culture that has affected romance appeal in manga to the point where romance are teased in their comics instead of explored.

P.S. Has anyone ever told you that your username looks eerily similar to "The Will of D" because of the weird line spacing? Like, from One Piece? If you don't know what that is, never mind.

@Knight_evangel

lol. I was just trying to make an ironic/tsukkomi comment but I guess it could be interpreted that way, but no matter what THIS MANGA IS WAY TOO CUTE AND THAT CAN'T BE DENIED.

I know they’re little kids and Ouji is definitely a pretty realistic kid, but I hope it doesn’t take a crazy long time for him to notice Himeno T-T

"Thank her for everything she's done for you"
????
did I miss something or is this just a pointless plot hook

Well, to be fair, I don't and can't expect much from a not-even-junior-school kid. They did not know anything about love with opposite sex. All they cared were games, cartoons, and sweet things. In fact, in some schools that I've known of, you'd get 'bullied' for showing any affection toward opposite sex for liking him/her.
