The one time Himeno was getting the mood she wanted and she completely dropped the ball.

I love the development that the author added. He really was thinking of Himeno-Chan the whole time.
Like in page 4, he brought up the topic of inviting a girl. And on page 5, his reaction can tell us, how disappointed he was with the idea. And finally on page 7. He finally mentioned Himeno. Though he didn't actually say it there, but we can easily understand the situation.
Bonus: On page 13, he said, "I... I just wanted to play with you". And he is blushing in the second panel.

TL;DR: This was a great chapter with lovely progression.
I really enjoyed reading it!
