I personally think the reason why Sabrina told her to wash throughly and gave her a book on customs is probably because Nina is now considered of age in their land. Or why else would Sabrina say something about the king touching her?? As much as I’d like to think that the King isn’t the ML, there’s a large chance that he is. Plus the maids bringing in a tub and fragranced water really reminded me of other manhwas and how the mcs get ready for their ‘first night’. I really hope I’m not right

the spoilers and the synopsis is already telling us the king is the ML of the main timeline. AT LEAST, we have what if sidestories with the other love interests. To those complaining about the age though, its only a 5 year gap if I remember the spoilers right

The king is the ML. He's 20-25 and Nina's 15 if I'm not mistaken. Regardless of the age gap, it's creepy to forcibly ask for a child (or anyone) to sleep together while hugging her. Koreans sure love this kind of forced child-objectifying love stories. I personally find it distasteful. Ew.

Id like to imagine the king isn't thinking of that. I think it's more like of maintaining an image that wouldn't insult Nina or the King. Even though they just all slept together, as the little blonde dude who barged in assumed, everyone else thinks the King has taken a romantic interest in Nina. So avoid being badly gossiped out(most likely outside the castle) Sabrina thought building a better image of Nina would be the best course of action to take, hence the book of customs and clean body.
