Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer

Truly one of the greatest mangas. You won’t regret reading this!

The description sounds like nonsense, and that it's going to be just some wacky comedy with a bit of drama thrown in. It's not--not even close. This was one of the first manga I read to make me realize that manga could achieve a level of storytelling and cohesiveness found only in the greatest of stories.

The only mango ever of which I would change nothing. It's perfect as is. A must read for everyone.

I remember overlooking this one because of the silly name and description. It might have been tagged as School Life as well which is usually a No for me. Either way, I was missing something good.

Re-read this after several years have passed.

Still as amazing as the first time. The only thing that comes close to this is Sengoku Youko. Just extraordinary.

Best manga I ever read.

I hope Mizukami sensei will get back his flair...

When I first saw these comments I thought "there's no way this manga is that amazing." Even halfway through I still thought that. Holy crap, that ending though. Seriously great manga, 9/10

This was one of the first manga I've read online back in the day and coming back, i realized that this is a mess of a story. That being said it tries so hard to be dramatic, tragic and cool that I still find it a bit charming. If this is someone's earliest introductions to manga then this story isn't half bad.

If you ever think of reading this manga, do it. Ala Shia LaBeuf, just do it. This MF mangaka was the one that wrote Spirit Circle (WHAT? YOU HAVEN'T SEEN SPIRIT CIRCLE? READ THIS AND THEN GO TO THAT).
It's...awesome, is stunning, is splendid, is beautiful.
Shut up and read it.
Punctuation: Lizard / 10

Just one of those you reread every few years to remind yourself of something really good.
