The scenes with Ryo and the apology to Mikan were already in episode 12, I guess this party would be considerably shorter in a season 2.

Anyway, the fact that they used a box from Mikan's factory to seal dad and the factory was somehow destroyed is pretty interesting, we already saw a destroyed factory a long time ago, now that's foreshadowing.

Page 10 has Shamiko dream of the Precambrian era. She sees an opabinia, hallucigenia, and a few haikouichthys. The first two are anomalous creatures for many reasons, such as having an unusual number of eyes and one confusing scientists as to which side was the head. More reading if you're interested;

Yeah, I meant the big hair clip or whatever it is that she's been wearing all this time, the one on the side of her head that looks as though it has a wing... It seems to have turned solid black, but I am very likely misinterpreting the artist's coloring.

So Shamiko's first training session was at Mikan's family's old factory, and Shamiko's old man was sealed inside a Mikan box. Let's see how all this links up somehow.

I just realised all three Magical girls named after tree's, Peach (In my defence I didn't know Momo is Peach in Japanese.) Mikan, and Sakura. I'm guessing here but they probably also represent the seasons as well, Sakura is Spring, Mikan is Autumn and Peach summer?

They also ate that weird thing Momo made out of the egg. Anything goes for Shamiko indeed, when it comes to food.

I was looking forward to Mikan "meeting" the box, considering that there should obviously be a connection. I'm slightly disappointed that it was just a small revelation. But that was just my personal expectation. The small progress with the mystery is still good.

Anyway, it would be funny if they find more demons sealed in Mikan boxes.

@harryno5 - Mikan (mandarins in general) is actually a Winter fruit. If there has to be an Autumn tree magical girl, I guess the most standard would be Ringo? let's see if she appear later.

Is that Momo's error or a TL error?

While peach lemonade is good, it does need some additional sugar after the raw lemon.
