Just a minor error, page two has 'neighbours' in the first panel & 'neighbors' in the third. You might wanna standardise it.

@FirenzeClipper It's 6 people in the raws too. Momo, Shamiko, Mum, Ancestor, Mikan, Ryoko.

@FirenzeClipper It's like when they went to the movies. Shamiko counted Ancestor and bought a ticket for her, even when all the space she took was a cupholder special seat.
 
Wow I just realized on reread, is that a heavy foreshadowing in one panel? Shamiko said a demon will take advantage of Momo's weakness one day, while holding a Sakura shaped carrot.

@harryno5 @evron in the 1st chapter, Shamiko had an image of 3 magical girls, all have question marks on their face. But the interesting thing is in anime,their colors are Pink, Orange, and Blue. Blue doesn't seem to fit Sakura, as they're all matching colors with names. So that makes me think we'll see one more magical girl in the future. Which might fit to the 4 seasons theme you're talking about.
 
So... to lessen the curse of the disaster striking magical girl, the price for that caused Shamiko's dad to be sealed within the box, likely willingly.

In short, it is thanks to Shamiko's father that the girl has easier time holding back her curse.

What goes around comes around.
