Kinda glad I picked this up but it did not go the way I expected it to go by the description... and I’m glad yet I feel betrayed...

I go on a rant below (it’s entirely useless but I just want to get things off my chest)

What shun did to her was too cruel, that left me torn. I hate him from the bottom of my heart, it would have been better if he told her from the start like Mariko said, not lead her onto something... that was way too low. The author had me thinking they were gonna be couple despite the creepy age gap, and I had a soft spot for him from the beginning, my heart was not ready for what he did and I despise him with all my strength and I will never get over it but I hope she does. I hope she lives a far better life than he ever will and he falls to misery and dies a painful death.
