I feel like the author is really going to lean in on the fact that Madoka is not completely human...maybe her "voice" is something that reaches deep into his soul, that's why we couldn't understand it.

This is me overthinking things, but I like the idea of a gag-story that acknowledges just how bizarre and scary the implications of cartoon logic are.
