This is a problem with translation. The translators did a good job to get the joke across, but the logic is lost in some parts. Not much that can be done there except to explain the joke (which I would have done as T/N at the bottom of each panel they appear in, but that's because I prioritize making the audience understand Japanese over localization).

The first one, Cola => Child Float, was originally コーラ => 子供用の浮き輪 (KOORA => kodomo you no ukiwa)
Second one, Shaved Ice => Men's Bathing Suit was originally かき氷 => 海水パンツ (kaki goori => kaisui pantsu)

Finally, the beans, which is the only weird part about the translation. "In the end, it was a bean bags."
The original Japanese text says 結局は手玉にとられた, which roughly translates to "In the end, he was led by the nose".
手玉に取る means "to lead someone around by the nose", but 手玉 alone means "beanbags", hence the mistranslation. This is a case of the translator not understanding a Japanese saying, which is very common if you don't have a really good online dictionary at hand or help from a native speaker to check your work.

Overall, I'd give the translator a solid 8/10. He could have done a better job, but it's far from being bad.

a suggestion for the second joke - that sort of swimsuit is called a Speedo in America, not sure about the rest of the world. But using that would fit better than "men's bathing Suit", I think. It also starts with a hard S sound, instead of the "sh" sound.

Not sure how to work the hard C from "coke" into anything that could mean inner-tube, floatie, pool toy, etc.
