why a golem horse with an accelerator like a bike? author why? are you stupid author? did you hit your head author?

Something tells me that this village is gonna be wiped out soon. They loom too happy.

I don't quite understand the dude's problem. He's working for the village as if his life depended on it. Practically speaking he has given them kingly gifts. He has also save lives already. Yet he's feeling he's doing nothing and thus keeps working skipping sleep and food. I'd understand this better if something he did had killed people in the village and he was trying to do as much as he could to pay them back, but in fact he had already paid back anything he might have owed them when he built them the water pump. Now he's in a certain sense making the villagers feel guilty because how could they ever pay him back? Or at least if they are decent people they would feel that way.

I just can't get inside his head.

the feeling I get is that the author wanted to create motorbikes, but that would be more difficult to explain and less practical than 4-legged bikes. At the same time, there's a ton of different small muscles and other mechanics that go into balancing with feet instead of wheels, especially in rough terrain, so he needed a golem brain. Finally, the handlebars are probably a faster implementation than vocal activation for driving and manual overriding.

Did the tax collector make the villagers walk 3 days to next village and 3 days back? Could mc make a simple wood cart for tax collector so villagers didn't have to go? What did the sentence about "prophecy" mean? Was it just a random without meaning or author attempt at mystery?

Makes a motorcycle horse when selling his waterpump and buying a bunch of actual horses would have been more efficient and effective.

@Hexador
Not really, horses need to be taken care of by feeding them and such. A mechanical horse needs no food and is potentially made of something much stronger than normal muscle and flesh, plus, it doesn't get tired.

@captain_crunch - yes, they did have to go that far. I guess it's a mountain region, so the villages are further apart than one can expect.
No idea what's the "prophesy" about, but I think it wasn't in the WN.

@Hexador - ordinary horses don't have adamantine skeleton and can't defeat armies and bash in castle gates on their own.
