It doesn't matter how many time your told it's dangerous or it will burn you. You only truly understand what that means once you touch it for the first time.

@sjmcc13 She ought to be a free woman, not a serf. She can refuse a random noble's invitation and especially some dubious dude who merely claims he's a butler. Naturally a noble would probably have ways to make her life more difficult later, so whether it would be wise to reject the invitation or not is a different issue. If the invitation was coming from the king, it would be far harder to say no.
