She basically spends a shitload of time with the succubus now away from the main guy. I don't get why she wants to befriend the succubus considering he/she tried to kill her.

@jak A lot of manga and anime like Naruto use that empathy to a fault trope. It's probably that.

True, considering Sakura married Sasuke. A man who tried to kill her on multiple occasions and never showed an ounce of care to her. And in Boruto, completely neglects his wife and child to the point his child is questioning who her birth mother is.
