You know, these crimes bosses are always morons. Fran is the frickin' daughter of the headmaster of the school- a well-known and extremely important lady. Kidnapping and selling her would have been idiotic even if Lou wasn't around because they would have had the entire government after them at that point, plus one pissed off magic mama.

Also, its nice to see an MC that doesn't just shrug off slavery like so many do in isekai and other fantasy novels.
