How the heck do you report something like this to the Knights?
"Hey, I just pummelled a guy who claims to be the Grim Reaper to death inside an abandoned building on the outskirts of town. Since nobody else have ever seen his face and lived to tell about it, you'll just have to take my word for it. So, where's my reward?"
I don't know...maybe it's just better to keep your mouth shut or something, because punching someone to death also seems suspicious....

What a load of nihilistic gibberish. Other than the fact that ""killing" biological lifeforms" won't cause the universe to reach cold-death, the mere idea that they give themselves purpose by claiming that life is purposeless, is just batshit crazy. It's riddled with over the top, poorly written angst.
And that's not to say I am shocked that I've seen such a villain in an isekai, the garbage-pile of all literary works. I have however seen it enough to just go on my own like that.
