Imagine if this is like One Piece where the author's basically thought of the entire story right from the beginning? Like if a bunch of seemingly innocuous details that we've been ignoring up till now are going to boomerang back into relevance out of nowhere. I suppose the problem with that here is that there isn't a final goal that Iruma is working towards. So even if it was that meticulously planned-out, it's still going to feel a bit rambly.
