Obviously potential future Amelie WITH glasses would win everything... but I think glasses alone are worth maybe 3 or 4 stars at most, and Amelie is a natural 6-star even without them.

@SotiCoto Your weird fetish is leaking out. If you have bad eyes sight, you will see there is nothing good with that. As a girl who wears glasses, I found nothing cute about the glasses. They are a pain and inconvenient, making eyes, ears and head hurt. I would rather wear contact lenses and when I got enough money, I will get corrective surgery. Glasses are also really expensive, getting new lenses after a couple of years drain money.

But this isn't my fetish "leaking out". That would imply I ever kept it contained. My fetish is set to 120% at all times.
Glasses are love. Glasses are life. That point where I first got my first pair of glasses was the greatest point of my life. I can't understand how anyone could ever want to rid themselves of that.
The only way I'd ever consider any sort of surgery on my eyes would be to make them perfectly match. Having slightly different prescriptions for each eye is bothersome. I hate asymmetry almost as much as I hate anti-glasses heresy. Speaking of which I really ought to get my ears adjusted. I'm so ashamed of the way my frames tilt slightly to one side and constantly need adjusting.
Anyway... I enjoy shopping for more glasses.... though I'd enjoy it more if the frames at most optician shops weren't so.... dull... I really do need better frames. I miss those old Oakley ones I used to have that got lost during that bar-fight.
And if your eyes, ears and head are hurting then the glasses aren't adjusted correctly.... though as noted, having a symmetrical head would make it a lot easier. Damned biology is so messy. And the cost can be offset by your workplace assuming you need your vision to do your job... and assuming you have a job.
Honestly though I think the problem is inside your head. Your priorities just need adjusting. I remember your comments on that middle-eastern housewife manga getting on peoples' cases on account of mere jokes. Maybe you just don't have anything to really drive you besides the bitterness.
Shame.
