What happened to the guy who said don't worry about what others think, who stood up for Daigo at the beginning? i knew at the end of the volume we were going to get Daigo in his game again, but i really can't blame him, the guy who made him get serious about baseball really did his best to stamp all over him.

Ugh. Hikaru is reminding me of Toshiya when he was at his worst.

C'mon, I thought that the narrative was going to change. The author is doing the same thing he did in seasons 2 and 3 when Toshiya was mocking Goro when they were rivals.

@MeReinHard basically he's being an asshole to Diago, mocking him for being on a girls team, telling him his level of baseball is poor, and telling Diago how he's going to become a catcher like Toshiya (he can't be a pitcher due to the injury) so they can't be in a battery (but Toshiya doesn't regret that)
