Makai no Ossan

From the same person who made Mob Psycho 100 and One Punch Man. It's nice, but it doesn't even compare to the other stuff he's made.

Makai no Ossan is told in a different style than Mob Psycho 100 and One Punch Man. It's all anecdotes about demons living peacefully in a suburban underworld. There are some longer plotlines, but the story always returns to bite-sized arcs, which gives the series a true slice-of-life feel. It's got ONE's signature weird style, which, for all its roughness, has heart and style.

I love ONE's storytelling, and this one didn't disappoint. It's a charming, easily digestible read that you can chip away at every once in a while.

Ten outta ten.
