What's a fantasy novel for a denizen of a world of sword and sorcery? Perhaps a fantasy world for them would be a world with no magic, no alchemy, no enchanted tools, where people need to work hard to solve simple things through science and technology, where people need to work together by the thousands to create mundane marvels to help them through their difficult, magicless lives? Yeah, they would probably find it hard to believe humans could even survive in such a world, let alone thrive, so it would surely sound like a fantasy novel to any readers.
