Manga where a demon is living in a kid and he has to eat other demons to survive?

I remember that this is set in a sorta historical setting ( like Soul Society from Bleach) and the love interest is part of a demon hunting corps. It was a manga I first started reading a long time ago on MangaRock, so I would really appreciate it if someone can figure it out for me...

@ragtime Is the setting historical Japan or historical western? Also do you remember any physical or personality traits of the MC? Any other details from the fact he has to eat demons to survive? Any events etc?

Tactics has a tengu that eats demons and I believe a kid who is demon.

@yatsuki it's historical Japan. I'm pretty sure the MC was raised by his grandfather in some sort of shop. Granted I was reading this around five years ago so my memory is fuzzy. I remember their being some sort of gate that the demons came out of and that the MC was a typical looking MC. This is also SHOUNEN btw
